fabrisseI have spent most of the day in bed reading two mysteries and a book about the production of The Wicker Man.

When I was doing software help desk work, my very favorite clients were from Oklahoma (and Canada), a pattern that was unexpected but remarkably consistent, over a number of years. I still smile with great affection when I hear an OK accent.

The state has a strange and sad history and that kind of carved it away from its neighbors, and we are a bunch of people from elsewhere (except for the Native Americans), but we have a lot of Southern customs for sure.
