Does Neptune going retrograde have an impact on the problems with the leak in the Gulf?

I know the leak started before the retrograde, but not fixing it? Does Neptune have bearing on ocean/sea related issues?

Ha! Yes! I was reading about something similar here:
http://www.elsaelsa.com/archives/2010/05/31/astrology-today-june-1-2-2010-beware-drunks-and-try-not-to-shoot-your-own-foot/

Talking about Neptune and Saturn and the Israel situation.

Here's more on Neptune and Saturn that might apply to the oil spill, but I haven't read it thinking of it like that, so I'm not sure:

A quick glance at that, though, indicates that one of the roles of Neptune, aside from the sea, etc, is draining. Interesting, no?

Thanks for the links.

No. Neptune's currently in Aquarius and neither influence covers weather/water/destruction. Uranus rules Aquarius and though it's a planet of upheaval, it's elemental rule is air. We *might* be a little worried where hurricanes are considered. But where the gulf coast is concerned, more/less worry depends on the horary charts for the latitude/longitude locations.

Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto are "era/generational" planets, so they have to be viewed widely. Pluto is the most ornery and longest-lasting. The outer planets' influence spans from 30 to 200 years. Right now, the stars are in similar confluence as they were 1775. So lots of upheaval for a while.

I've always thought it was funny that Aquarius was an Air sign. *G*

Thank you for a more detailed explanation.

1775? Eep.

Ah, yeah. Goofy advertising screw-up is what that is. Aquarius' sign is two parallel wavy lines. They represent air current and the energy that flows through all things (which is why Aquarius is the ruler of astrology *g* since astrology reads patterns and flows). A few hundred years ago, European astrologers equated the pouring of water with the giving of energy(air). One of those metaphors that got lost in transition over the years. *gg*

Welcome. :)

Yep. Pluto has been in either opposition or square with Mars and Jupiter every single time there has been a planetary revolution of some kind. Late 18th century, America, Haiti, and France. A hundred years later, the civil war. A hundred years later, the civil rights. We're closing in on the age of Aquarius, which also rules the common man and common wisdom. Pisces, the age we're in now, rules metaphysics, spirituality, religion, and mysticism, and for the past 2,200, we've been inundated with massive belief systems. Pisces is also known for muddying the lines between all these things, so wars were inevitable. Anyway, entering Aquarius, we blend its assigned rulerships with those of Pisces. So here we have the computer age and fundamentalism. Are we having fun yet? *g*
