I like this idea, especially with some newer ships being built with solar power as a back-up. This is also the reason that so many interesting futures have zeppelins in the skies. They're usually faster than ships, use less fuel (and might be able to be converted to non-destructive biofuels), and, while they're slower than airplanes, they are usually faster than trucks for long distances. They fill a solid niche that's currently not really covered internationally.
How do we get this done?
