According to an AP report I read at Salon, the UN has officially called for a moratorium on the death penalty. This resolution has been defeated twice before.

The US voted against it. We were joined by our prominent allies in the cause Iran, Syria, and China. (What's the emoticon for eyerolling?)

yeah. We disagree with those countries on virtually every other topic. How the hell do we agree with them on this?

Because the dicks who run things, who constantly mix the church and state, love to kill people, whether in war or in prison. After all, their bible tells them it's okay.
