I had a great time. I played tourist on Friday and took a harbor cruise. Saturday, I met up with gileswench, and we saw the de Young Museum and had an adventure.

Later that night, we had spa treatments. Later, we listened to the hysterics of one of the other hotel guests.

Sunday we went to the Asian Art Museum, had a spontaneous and salty picnic, and were awakened at 2 a.m. by an amped guitar playing bad rock.

Having said that, it was still a cool weekend -- and this is the important part -- away from my family.

Tomorrow, May 29 is my birthday. Can everyone send a good vibration my way for a good job in the north? I'm aiming for Canada, but I can settle. *G*
