Palm Pilots

My father got a palm for his birthday last month and we're trying to get things to sync up. He needs the portable keyboard with it. His essential tremors make the stylus nearly impossible for him.

Can someone explain how to line up things like the infrared so that it would work? We're having issues.

Hmm. I've not used a portable keyboard with mine. The ones I've seen have a place where you pop the palm so it's in the right place. Which model palm pilot is it?
