What a New Year

fabrisseMy uncle had two wives and two sets of kids. His youngest son (second son by second wife) just had a daughter whom I got to meet over the holidays. The older son by the second wife is getting married in early May.
Uncle only has one daughter who was born halfway between me and Sis. She had a kid in the 1980s by her first husband and has a son by her second husband at the same time her eldest was having a daughter.
Girl!Cousin's eldest son was killed in a car accident on the 101 in California just three hours ago.
I'm heartbroken for her.
