Yesterday, <username=greenygal>, <username=neotoma>, and our friend Euterpe got together to watch a cheesy movie online. <i>Quo Vadis</i> features a bland, but still unlikable hero and two great supporting performances by Leo Genn and Peter Ustinov. Ustinov left no scenery unchewed. Genn as Petronius Arbiter did a nice line in sardonic and was able to insult Ustinov's Nero to his face with Nero none the wiser.

The dogs needed to see the vet today. They get excited when I get their leads. Nicky -- all 40 lbs of him -- jumped up and put his paws against my knees so forcefully they hyper extended. Both knees are swollen, but the bad knee, the one I'm going to PT for looks like someone injected a lime on the outside of the joint. In fairness, it's just a little key lime, but I really didn't need that.
