Emergency Room

fabrisseI've been at the emergency room with Mom waiting for her to be seen by a doctor for over 3 hours. She's had a CAT scan, but she's rating her pain at a 7 out of 10 which is way high for a Calvinist.
Mom's blood pressure has been a little high recently, but the past few days her balance has been terrible, her pain level has been high, and her blood ox has been low. When she has a pain spasm, she clutches her throat around her carotid artery.
I'm worried.
ETA: it's 6:50 and we're in one of the exam rooms. We don't know how the night will go, but the chances are good that a carotid ultrasound will be part of it.
The second they put the EKG leads on her, Mom's monitor had an A-fib alert.
