I saw a goldfinch at my bird feeder today! I think it was getting harassed by the house sparrows who has tried to establish a territory around the feeder, but yay, goldfinch!

Yea! Goldfinch! Sis saw a woodpecker yesterday, but I couldn't find it today. I saw both our cardinals, though.

You can put out a mealworm feeder to attract woodpeckers, but you'll attract a lot of other birds -- mealworms are a high-value food.
