See that icon? That was me on my 21st birthday. (I first used the icon when I was 46 so the caption was supposed to be "me minus 25" but people tended to read it as "me at 25".)

Thank you. It was taken after dinner in a friend's laundry room. (We didn't eat in the laundry room. A bunch of us went back to their place after the restaurant.)

The friend who took it died of lupus about 14 years later. She was an excellent artist in several media. I was just lucky to be one of her subjects during her photography phase.
