The weekend

Dad got out of the hospital on Thursday evening and was back in -- another, better -- hospital on Friday night.
Congestive heart failure, but it's treatable. I'm still coming to Arisia, but I may abruptly disappear if things take a turn.
I saw Little Women on Saturday night with Elle and Kay. It's not bad, but I hate the way Amy was written and that detracted from the whole film for me.
Yesterday, I met up with neotoma. We had a ritual exchange of pastries (I bought at the French baker, and she bought at the Greek). We had a decent brunch and then went to a knitting store.
I am firm in my belief that knitters release spores of some kind because I have been infected. I have some gorgeous blue linen yarn, bamboo needles and a vague idea for a scarf/small shawl. Wish me luck.

Luck with the shawl/scarf!
