My father had hip replacement surgery today. He's out of surgery, staying the night in the hospital, and sounded all right when I spoke to him.

It's also the 44th anniversary at his finally returning from Vietnam.

Thank you. The dogs are spending the day at doggy day care this week, so they don't trip him while he needs the walker.
