Snow and Soup

Snow is coming down. Carrots, leeks, garlic, apple, and beans are in the first states of becoming a cabbage soup with beans and barley. Winter is cosy.

Changed the barley to buckwheat and added it along with some marmite. Cabbage will be added in 20-30 minutes and food soon after that.

Nom. We just ate the first half of our broccoli-and-cheese soup with some Bavarian sausages we still had floating around. Yay hearty winter food that does not require leaving the house!

Exactly. I'm about to have seconds. :-)

And even better: a working Citrix Receiver which means that I can run tomorrow's big report battle from home, controlling my state-of-the-art Windows 10 machine at work from my puny little Mac mini with its German keyboard. Fun times.
