Dear Yule Goat

Dear Yulegoat --
I really have been a good girl this year. For the most part. Really.
So, dear author, I'm fine with any rating unless otherwise specified. I don't imagine that two of these would lend themselves to Explicit for various reasons, but I know how imaginative authors can get.
General nos: Extreme or explicit violence. Rape or Dubcon. A/B/O. AUs unless requested. There are certain acts which just don't turn me on: scat, blood play, golden showers. All BDSM must be safe, sane, and consensual.
General yeses: Exploration of emotions and the consequences of actions, even if those consequences are negative. I'm fine with explicit slash, het, or threesomes (or moresomes). I like a happy ending -- it's Yuletide; let's celebrate -- but I completely understand if it doesn't make sense within the story. A well-written fic with a sad resolution is better than something jammed in to make it happy.
Reverie: All 10 episodes can be found on Hulu (Any rating)
I like the premise of the show. I like the little bits of broken we've seen from the main characters (except for Mara who is BIG bits of broken, but beginning to heal). I really like the slowly developing friendship/something more between Mara Kint and Paul Hammond. I'd like to see more of this, in whether in the Reverie program and/or in their onscreen relationship. I'd love to see them get together so any rating is fine as long as there's genuine informed consent (but a Gen friendship fic is also fine). Case fic, possibly related to the government issues, would also be welcome – just don't make Mara and Paul antagonists (or resolve it by the end of the story if they are).
Hellspark! by Janet Kagan: It's available on Kindle for less than $5. (Any rating EXCEPT explicit)
I want a post-book story about Tocohl as a Byworld Judge. If Om im has already joined her as a judge's aide, all the better. If it involves Buntec, Edge-of-Dark, Tinling Alfvaen, or even "Old Rattlebrain," that's all to the good. I loved the festival of Saint Veshke -- and it's implied that there's always a need for Byworld Judges there -- but I could also see another story set on Flashfever dealing with the sprookjes and their off-world trading. I love this world and want to see Tocohl, Maggie, and Om Im righting wrongs.
Kingdom of Heaven: Director's cut is 3 hours, but definitely better than the theatrical version. Currently available on YouTube or through Amazon Streaming (Any rating EXCEPT explicit)
Baudouin (Baldwin) offers Jerusalem to Balian through his sister and Balian turns him down. How did Baudouin come to make the offer, what counsel did he take, and how does he feel knowing that death is near, and his brother-in-law will destroy the peace with Saladin he’s worked for. Any way that you care to expand on Baudouin would be welcome. To have survived as a leper for so long must have taken great strength of will. The Hospitaler fascinates me. Is he an angel? Does he use his medical knowledge to help Baudouin? If Imad makes an appearance, perhaps as a messenger/ambassador for Saladin or bringing Saladin's physician, that would be lovely, but my central interest is in a King who must be a recluse, whether or not that’s his temperament, and his philosophical attitude toward the city-state he rules.
VR.5: Available on YouTube (Any rating with caveat noted below)
I adored this show. Duncan -- he stayed with Sydney throughout her life. Her mother is in a mental facility, her father and sister are dead -- or not, but Duncan has remained a constant. He knew kabbalah symbols before the practice was as famous as it is now. He's not plugged in to the virtual world, but he deals in the mystic. I'd like to know how he made his choice to stay at Sydney's side. I'd rather keep Duncan and Sydney as a platonic relationship.
I also adore Oliver and Sydney's relationship and Oliver with Alex and her many faces. An exploration of the Bloom marriage pre-car accident would be stunning. Or a character study of either of the Bloom parents that includes the missing twin. Any rating. Essentially, I'm easy in this fandom. There's so little exploration of this multi-levelled world.
Bonus Ball
Kings (2009): Available for purchase through Amazon. I don't know of free streaming. (Any rating)
There have been some brilliant stories in this fandom (I love Black and Gold by Timid_Timbuktu and Single Use Weapon by Fahye as (longer) examples), but there are never enough. When I first watched the series, I didn't understand why everyone was so into Jack (I mean, yes, good looking woobie, but…). Each time I've rewatched the series though, I found Jack more compelling specifically in his relationships with his family. I would be fine with a prequel, an after the end of the series, or a story that diverges at any point from the episode Chapter One onward. I'm not a huge fan of Joseph Lasile, but if he's essential, I understand.
I want points of view – or a point of view – on Jack and his relationships with his family. Rose protects him without really accepting him. She favors him in many ways, but there's always a hard bright line over which she will not step. Michelle is his twin, older by four minutes, and yet he's a grown man – young, but an adult – and she still feels unformed in many ways, even though she's probably more ethical. They're both political, Michelle with her causes and him with the military, yet they feel so different. Silas wants Jack to be "worthy" as a son and heir. Is he bothered by Jack's homosexuality because he had experiences as a younger man? Or is he just so straight he cannot conceive of same sex relationships? (I never really believed Silas' statement that he'd be fine with Jack's orientation if he weren't the heir.) What do Jack's unit think of him, or the higher command level? He struck me as a good officer. Does David become a member of his family, either through Michelle, through fictive kinship, or through a romantic relationship between Jack and David. Boyden and Klotz, Andrew or William Cross, Thomasina, David Shepherd, Reverend Samuels, Katrina Ghent, Jessie Shepherd, an original character, or any/all member(s) of the royal family would be great points of view.
