Dearie, dearie me

fabrisseOn my way to get lunch yesterday, I fell. I landed on my right side. My cane handle hit my face, fortunately it has a soft covering, and I have some mild facial bruising. I also have lots of pain on my right side, an injured wrist, mild concussion (probably, based on my eyes not tracking), and a sprained ankle. I'm in the boot on the left side for the heel spur and an air cast on my right for the ankle. My current lurch is similar to Frankenstein's monster.

neotoma helped me get to urgent care, stayed with me through getting the prescription for tramadol, and took me home with her so that I'd have adult supervision per the doctor's instructions. She's also made me pancakes, giggled when she checked my eye tracking, and made a drug store run to get me a stool to use in the shower as trying to get out of a bathtub and trying to stand on two bad legs are neither of them good options. Definitely a good friend to have.
