Not knowing the purpose of the poll, I feel that I can't answer it. I know very few of the people listed, and I don't want to skew the results towards better-known architects when it's asking about "architects I like" rather than "architects I've heard of".
He's done some gorgeous work some of which has been important in my life. I get a thrill taking the shuttle to Dulles every single time. The first time I saw it was when we moved to London when I was six.
People went to a lot of trouble to try to make everyone forget Saarinen. He didn't build glass boxes and the other architects voted him off the island.
