day 25, Vaccinated!

I go back to work next week. Looking forward to it less than you might think. I checked with my doctor today, and I got another round of high dose vitamin D and approval to start doing light exercise next week. Yea!

In addition, I requested flu, pneumonia, and pertussis/tetanus shots. She originally informed me that I couldn't have the pertussis/tetanus because there was a shortage and they'd been out for a month. However, when the nurse came in to administer the others, she said, "I just unloaded a new shipment this afternoon." So, I got shot 3, too.

My left arm hurts and I'm having a mild reaction to one of them, but I'm doing my part for herd immunity.

Good for you! I had W.C. a couple of years ago, and until then I didn't even know that adults were supposed to get boosters. Trust me, I never want to go thru that again.

One part of being a military brat is that I have comprehensive and slightly scary shot records. I've always known that I required boosters. Sometimes, it's been difficult to get them, but I knew about them

I heard gileswench's whoop a year or so ago, and thought it was probably time to update. I have enough issues with my lungs without that. *G*
