Day 21, Trying to pick up the threads

I have several pieces, including a Criminal Minds Series, where I have a lot written, but nothing finished. In the next ten days, while I'm still off work, I hope to finish Transformations at least, and possibly one or two other stories.

I spent a good part of today finding the pieces I have. I'd moved most of them to a backup drive before I got the new laptop, but figuring out which backup drive took awhile. In the meantime, I also updated my Amazon Cloud player.

Last night when I went to bed, I noticed the lights were still on in the cupola. This morning, I heard about the Cruz filibuster. *sigh* I'd hoped something was being accomplished.

I just keep shaking my head about some of this. Really, healthcare is good. People on food stamps need the help. And being unemployed doesn't mean you aren't ready and willing to work. *sigh*

Apropos of absolutely nothing, I note that one of my Yuletide noms has been approved, but with the main character rejected (and apparently having had the name changed to a different form than I entered?) I'm guessing that someone further up the queue nommed the same fandom and used a different form of the character name.

On a tangent, is there any way to persuade AO3 to get a tag wrangler for a specific tiny fandom? The character tags are confusing because one of the characters has several names, nicknames, and epithets - and authors use all different permutations in a desperate attempt to differentiate her from a second character who shares the name (and even has some epithet overlap).

I don't know about AO3 wrangling, but since it's a Yuletide fandom, you could try the evidence post at yuletide_admin. I'm still waiting for approval on most of my nominations, too.
