Day 20, Not much

I wrote a story for the Ten-in-Ten challenge. I took two walks and got lunch at the American Indian Museum. Their "Plate of Colors" is great for vegetarians -- it's four side dishes from any region. I sat where I could watch the fountain. It's been down for several weeks, so it was soothing to see it working.

The sun was out and the prism were refracting nicely under the dome. There's something about the large offset prisms at the museum. I really understand that there are far more colors than I can actually see. Small prisms don't do it the same way.

All in all, a dull day, but a lovely, sunny one.

I don't know, that sounds like a peaceful day to me. Peaceful and dull are sometimes mistaken for one another, but this sounds more interesting than a dull day. Good food and prisms and happy water fountains are peaceful things, but they engage us more than dull ones.
