I am finding the Texas Filibuster is hitting my political wonk button hard. Bless Senator Zaffirini for bringing up germaneness.

If Senators can keep the clock running for 45 minutes, the bill cannot go forward.

Names to remember: Wendy Davis, Zafferini, Van de Putte, and Watson.

Seeing this the next morning, when I know she succeeded despite all kinds of last minute bullshit by the republicans.

Pretty awesome, though I don't quite trust them to not come up with another special session to retry this.
