Goal

I need out of my current job.

After a talk with siderea last night, it became clear that I need to get out as soon as I can. So.

I will every Sunday until I have a new job, post the previous week's job applications (just a number publicly). The goal is five a week.

Even though it's only Wednesday, I have managed five applications this week, thanks to siderea scouring Craigslist DC while we were on the phone to get the ball rolling.

In fairness, I had already put in one application on Monday.

What kind of jobs are you looking for? (Still QC stuff, or more customer/public stuff now, or whatever looks doable?) Unlikely my sister knows of anything in your area (she works for the EPA), but I figure it never hurts to mention it to as many people as possible.

Honestly, I'm at the point where I'd do phone sex to cover my rent.

Having said that: QA, basic IT support, administrative assistant, customer service... Anything that pays would be great.

No idea what the pay is, but you'd probably actually be great at phone sex. You have the voice for it. Might not help on the political side, though...
