I saw this the other day and was kind of boggled. OTOH,South Carolina seems to be having a contest in the last year or two to see how dumb things it can get in the news for. Given that these parents also called the police over the matter, it's surprising that the school board is taken them as seriously as it is.
Wanted to ask if you went to any of the reason rally. Heard about it on NPR today. Not that I would probably have gone anyway, but it might have a been a bit more useful if they'd mentioned it a little further in advance. (Apparently someone advertised it, depending on the attendance they expected, but not via any channel I hear things through.)
