New Work Computer

I set a new wallpaper on my computer at work. It's a corner of the Grand Place on a rainy day. Somehow, the picture means more because I know where the street leads. I keep thinking I could walk into the picture, turn right, and get to Gare Centrale to go home.

I may need to change it. I love DC, but this is making me so homesick for Brussels.

Man, you're making me miss Brussels, too. Where did you live when you were there? We were in Uccle, not far from L'Observatoire.

I lived for four years in Woluwe Saint Pierre on Avenue de l'Horizon and two years living in Etterbeek on Rue de Bollandistes. The first was from 1978-1982 and the second was 1987-1989.

It's the corner with the Godiva shop near the Agora shopping center. I got it from National Geographic.
