World Peace would be nice.
Someone to help me set up a blog in WordPad.
People to write to their Congressional Representative (or Senator) and ask why I, as a citizen of DC, am not allowed to have one. I don't mind sharing him or her with another 300,000+ people.
On the fandom side:
A Klaine fanvid set to "Human" by The Pretenders or "True" or "Gold" by Spandau Ballet or Eternal Flame -- and yeah, I prefer the Atomic Kitten version, but I'll accept anyone's.
I can't believe no one's done any TWOP motivators for Klaine or for Chris Colfer's Golden Globe and SAG nominations. *bats eyes fetchingly*

Date: 2010-12-22 05:10 am (UTC)You mean WordPress? Cause if so, I'm totally willing to do that. It will have to be via the phone and all (hmm, I wonder if we could set up some sort of window sharing. Will look into it.)

Date: 2010-12-24 07:53 pm (UTC)Here on LJ, your blog's "name" is irrelevant, because what it says in the URL is "USERNAME.livejournal.com", i.e. "fabrisse.livejournal.com". Not so on WP. On WP, your URL will be "BLOGNAME.wordpress.com", even while your posts and comments in it will be by USERNAME.
Note, the BLOGNAME that appears in the URL can have any relationship, including none at all, to the name you title your blog with. You can be Fred at WP, blogging at "Fred's Journal", which has the URL "throckmorton.wordpress.org".
So step one is picking a blogname and an username, neither of which conflicts with the choices of anyone else on WP.
So, go to
https://en.wordpress.com/signup/
And start entering BLOGNAMEs you think you might like -- it will automagically tell you if someone else has already snagged your desired name, even without your submitting the form.
Do likewise in the next field, Username.
Once you have a pair that works for you, go ahead and sign up for them. You'll need an email address. Remember to use the appropriate email account (professional address for professional blog, etc.)
