Yes, indeed...the 'wonders' of SpellCheck. I used it once and some of the words listed weren't even close to the word I was trying to 'check'.

Fortunately, I weaned myself from uncritically allowing SpellCheck to make the changes it chose the first time I realized it hadn't caught the word "form" when I meant "from" way back in the dark ages. I run it, but I also proofread. It's amazing how much that can help. *G*

Yes, the Mr.'s college roommate could have benefited from it..he turned in an astronomy paper entitled "The Erotic Movement of Asteroids"..and the mistake carried all the way through the paper. Those were the days....I don't think we had Spell-check in the early '70's, but it would have been nice.
