I just saw the entire Capitol Fourth! Fireworks from my Balcony! I saw the whole thing with the Washington Monument over to one side.

I adore fireworks. I always feel such joy and awe watching them. But I'm terrified of heights and had never been out on my balcony before. I heard the first booms and went on out.

They were beautiful.
