BP's New Logo

Someone *cough* Greenpeace UK *cough* had the bright idea of coming up with a new more appropriate logo for BP.

Some of the results may be found behind these words. I like the one of the oily bird hacking out BP logos and the one where the logo kind of abstractly melts into an oil plume.

I like the one with the logo swimming in oil and the phrase "black pest" at the bottom. But I also like the skull with the logo for eyes.

The one with the oil in a Martini glass and the BP logo as the garnish also has its appeal for me. Especially now that we hear this could continue for over a month.

Back in '79, it took those people *nine months* to take care of the problem. So far, I haven't seen a damn thing that proves this will be any different. I'm so ... I just wanna SCREAM and beat the shit out of those bastards. These are the worst kind of sociopaths. I mean, there's evidence that they refused to use the right equipment because it cost too much. Are they freakin' kidding? When they clear several billion a year per CEO, COO, CFO, etc., and they have the goddamn nerve to say that shit?
