I came to work today. I'm not sure it was the wisest move. I'm debating leaving soon.

The thing is, I'm not sick. Not like I was. I can't seem to eat much, and I'm tired, but food is staying in my stomach and digestion seems normal.

Advice, o wise and mighty friends list? *G*

Your body has been through a trauma. So even though you're no longer sick, you're still weak.

Do what you can. Nibble on crackers, water and ginger ale. And go home to rest as soon as you can. Better to slowly wean your way into it than go full speed and relapse.

I know from experience that sometimes you need an extra day just to rest from being sick. If you go back too soon, sometimes it makes you sick again. So, if you can go home, I would.

Oh oh. That's not good. Sorry to hear that you're feeling so bad. Could there be another underlying problem?

Glad to hear that you're home. Feel better and take care of yourself.

I don't think so, other than, possibly, it got very hot very quickly and my body's adjusting.

I think it's just taking time for me to be able to eat properly because my body remembers my stint as the stunt double for The Exorcist last week. *G*

Dear lady, it will take some time for things t return to normal; depending on which virus you had it could be up to a coupe of weeks before you are 100%. May I suggest that you just eat little and often, whatever you can get you body to accept.

Also, if you can get hold of any probiotic drinks they might help; I'm in the uk so I don't know what is available to you, but something like yakult might be good. Also some health food shops sell capsules with"god bacteria" in them which could help to settle your innards!!

Don't rush back to work; it's better to take time and recover completely rather than rush back and take much longer for full recovery.

And always remember CHOCOLATE (ok that's not medical advice, just girly advice)

Thank you. It's good to know I'm on the right track with what I've been doing.

Chocolate. I wish I had some. *G*
