and isn't this proof positive that it's not just Republicans that can make total asses of themselves? I'm praying that this guy gets the same treatment on shows like Hardball and Rachel Maddow that they give Republicans - to prove that they can and are even-handed in their reporting.

As we were driving into Nuremberg once, we passed a hideously ugly building in shades of orange and purple. Dad said, "We may have to bomb Nuremberg again." The differences are that Dad's not a public figure, and he didn't say it where anyone but family could hear it.

But I can't believe anyone could be that stupid.

(I just recently discovered that hipster irony and racism is some whole big thing, based on that comment of Amanda Palmer, which I still have no more coherent reaction to than WTF? But apparently, people just don't get that the internet is not your living room.)
