I had an incredible weekend mostly just hanging out and seeing people both at Arisia and elsewhere.

Since at least three people mentioned they wanted me to cook for them, I may have to see about doing another dinner up in Boston. *G* Breaks my heart.

And in the ongoing saga of the Elders. They called to ask me to church with them. I explained that I was in Boston for the weekend. So when they called this morning, I was asked how my weekend was and I told them I'd enjoyed the con.

"Did you dress up like a Klingon or something?"

"No. Though people do. But this one was more steampunk," said I.

"I must have misunderstood you. It sounded like you said 'steam' like steam engines and 'punk' like old-fashioned punk rock?"

The rest of the conversation was just FUN.

Horizons are being broadened.

Hee. You're a wicked, broadening influence...

On a completely different note, thought you might like this review of the latest Pratchett that I stumbled across.

Thank you. I agree mostly with that review. I liked the themes far more than the plot, but I loved Nutt and Glenda.
