</td><td valign="top">You are a geek. Good for you! Considering the endless complexity of the universe, as well as whatever discipline you happen to be most interested in, you'll never be bored as long as you have a good book store, a net connection, and thousands of dollars worth of expensive equipment. Assuming you're a technical geek, you'll be able to afford it, too. If you're not a technical geek, you're geek enough to mate with a technical geek and thereby get the needed dough. Dating tip: Don't date a geek of the same persuasion as you. You'll constantly try to out-geek the other.</td>

I can't believe that I outgeeked you. The universe is definitely out of whack when that happens. ;-)

What did you answer to the clothing question? I think I lost points for actually knowing what "winter" colors are.

P.S. I find the Dating Tip amusing. I hadn't thought it it that way, but the fact that George is Wintel/VMS/Linux/BigIron/lowlevel, and that I am Mac/Unix/BSD/desktop/highlevel is probably a crucial bit to our being comfortable around one another. :)

Aah. Most of my clothes come from Salvation Army. Or Talbot's. So that may have been your downfall. *g*

I only got 46%, which makes me a "geek liason". I'm a little surprised by that, really.

You thought your quotient would be higher?

Yes. If it had been specifically a computer geek quiz, I wouldn't expect a very high score, but on an overall basis, I think I'm definitely more geeky than not.

Which doesn't surprise me in the least.

Not the only liason

I scored 33%, and was found to be a liason. I bet it's just because I'm actually fun at parties. : p Okay, and the fact that I do stuff other than play video games sometimes, but you'd really think a woman who says she picked up men in bookstores might have scored a little higher than that. Humph. And there were several questions where I was forced to give a much more 'normal' answer than I usually would simply because there wasn't a geeky enough answer available to cover my true feelings and habits.

I demand to be considered geekier than 33%!!!!

There, there, dear. I know you're far geekier than that.

Had trouble explaining to the kids here that referring to myself as a "girl geek" was not self-deprecating.

Whee. And you're one of my favorite geeks too. :-)

And note that our fourth housemate isn't geeky enough to read my LJ.

Hi All,
It feels a bit awkward just posting here--and I am late responding to this topic besides. Oh, well. Siderea introduced me to LJ.
I am 49% Geek--Liaison. Figures. I grew up mediating the spats of a Geek and a Suit (NT father and SJ mother). Great fun--though the MBTI has given me some better traction as of late.

Welcome. I hope you don't mind if I friend you.

At least you understand where your rating comes from. Most of the rest of us are a little astonished.
