rhiannonhero and JED.
Good food (and they were very sweet and covered my meal) and great conversation made this a wonderful interlude. Both of them have great senses of humor, and the time flew by too quickly.
As I occasionally do, I checked google maps to see how far I walked. All my various perambulations (My place to hotel, hotel to restaurant, restaurant to DAR, DAR to my place) came to 5.2 miles.
The walk home was beautiful. The sun was turning the big fluffy clouds a pinky-gold and the moon kept playing hide and seek behind them. Walking from the restaurant to Constitution Hall,rhiannonhero pointed out a rainbow right beside the Washington Monument. I haven't seen one in DC since I was a little girl.
I hope they enjoyed their concert.
