It's working for DC Department of Employment Services. There are full benefits, and the salary is $10,000 more than my last job.
My orientation is on August 3. Beyond that, I don't know anything. I assume it's for the Training People on Windows Office position that I interviewed for in March, but for all I know, I'm Marion Barry's new mistress.
My three indulgences in celebration will be a new pair of the shoes I wear with the comfort soles, dinner at a nice restaurant tonight, and, once I get my first paycheck, signing up for zipcar.
