After a fifteen minute interview, I have been "Approved for Hire" as an Instructional Aide in the DC Public School system. They've promised to send me an email explaining exactly what that means, but it's a good thing.

Also, whoever wrote "just direct your feet to the sunny side of the street" never spent a summer in DC.
