Keep Warm. 7F is not a temperature I envy.

To everyone -- Eat noodles tonight. It's Chinese New Year.

7? Now the "nippiness" here seems more bearable. *shivers at the thought of 7*

My dad and I are making stroganoff. Does that count?

Yes, comparative temperatures are a wonderful thing.

My dad sent me one of those email things on that subject. At 26F it had "Entire population of Miami DIES -- New Englanders consider closing some windows."

Technically, they're supposed to be uncut noodles, but it's not your tradition or mine.

What goes into your stroganoff?

*laughs really hard at the article* No kidding; in Washington, it's like, "Wow, it's still snowing" but the temperature doesn't really get to you. But 7F would be like... not fun; I don't think I'd get out of bed.

Heh, we can be really... er... creative. Sometimes we don't have the ingredients we originally wanted, so we'll try something new. Generally, we have some sort of meat, as well as peas. One time, we discovered we didn't have any noodles or hamburger, so our "stroganoff" consisted of the following (and somehow managed to taste delicious): tuna fish, peas, potato chips, and cream sauce. Food is weird.

Tonight we may end up getting creative again because money's been really tight for both of us.

7F. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

:) Year of the Ox, which a few strange American newspapers are calling Water Buffalo. Erm... LOL

They think Ox means the beast has been neutered, and Americans like their machismo.

As an Ox myself, I just giggle.

*g* I'm one of those "accuracy" people when it comes to lunar/astro signs, and once upon a time, before I sold almost all my books, I used to have a pretty thorough Chinese astrology book. It was fascinating. :)

On the other hand, I took advantage of the cold Saturday night to try making frozen soap bubbles (I'm guessing you probably saw them somewhere on lj as well).

This was cold, but very neat. Though it apparently needs to be even colder to work properly.
