Fact-loving girls

I've just been told that the 13 year old who loves facts has been registered by her mother in two other tutoring programs and that my services are no longer required. I know I shouldn't be, but I'm devastated.

Thanks, sweetie. I've done some crying and some cooking, and I feel a little better now.

My father and I spoke tonight for the first time in a couple of weeks, and he was so angry on my behalf. He doesn't do anger. It was oddly comforting.
