I doubt this will surprise anyone, but I've just discovered not to mix red wine with peanut butter. Nope, not even sweet red wine.

I'd had peanut butter about 20 minutes earlier. Then forgot that the stuff in my glass was wine. *shudders*

Ah, your comment above explains this. I wasn't sure if you were alternating them, or trying some strange variation of peanut sauce (I suspect that might work a lot better, depending what else you put in...)
