Tutoring Update

fabrisseThey've asked me to teach the Tech Seminar rather than literature. Apparently they had very few people offering to do it, and I had said I'd teach either.
This is cool.
However, the little bit I've been able to read on the Tech stuff so far, seems a little limited. While I will keep to the lesson plans, every once in awhile I need to get down with my bad self and broaden the topics.

kestrell to help me prepare a twenty minute piece about tech for the disabled.
The program is emphasizing using tech -- or learning how to use it to solve problems. I want to get them excited enough that maybe they'll think about building tech, designing software, or other things that my mind is too limited to encompass.
Suggestions? Videos appropriate for 5th graders? Book recommendations (either for me or the kids)? Other?
