In response to this statement in the TWoP Motivator Thread:

It's October, and with our first official sighting of Pennywise the clown (who, by the way, saw his shadow, which means 5 more weeks of political coverage) ...

I asked:
(Palin or Pennywise -- which is scarier?)

I've had several responses but my favorite so far is from ana joven who said:

No contest. One is the leering face of pure evil and the other is just a clown played by Tim Curry.

It was the idea that Pennywise seeing his shadow meant more political coverage that got me giggling uncontrollably.
