That Woman!
Oct. 2nd, 2008 09:11 pmI've already turned off the debate because Palin refuses to answer the questions.
"I'm not gonna answer the questions, I'm just gonna talk straight to the American people."
AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
The problem with accepting atheism into my heart is that I have no one to pray to that the American people will listen and say, "Damn! Let's vote for the other guy."

Date: 2008-10-03 02:58 am (UTC)It scares me that there must be plenty of people out there who won't have a problem with Palin not answering the questions. After all, she and McCain are mavericks! (Don't get me started on how inane the phrase "team of mavericks" is.)

Date: 2008-10-03 05:08 pm (UTC)As for the whole Northeastern thing. Nope. I'm Southern, and I want to slap her silly.
But we're elitists. *G*

Date: 2008-10-03 05:17 pm (UTC)I don't know how she normally speaks, but it all came across as carefully put on to me - even if she does talk like that round the house, it's not what I think of as appropriate for formal situations, so I found it incredibly annoying and cutesy.

Date: 2008-10-04 01:02 am (UTC)Today, I went to factcheck.org to see how much they screwed up. Both did. Some screw-ups were at least in their third or fourth rerun. If there ever is a politician who doesn't make it on the wrong side of genuine fact-checking, or at least doesn't do it on a rerun, I might damn near have to become a full-fledged theist!
