Janet Kagan

Writer Janet Kagan died in early March.

I don't know how old she was; I'll go look it up in a minute. (Born 1945. The same age as my first boyfriend.)

She wrote my two favorite Science fiction novels: Mirabile and Hellspark.

I often wished there were more novels by her.

I still think Mirabile would make a phenomenal mini-series for Sci-Fi. I'm so sad she's gone.

*nods* Me too, although I've never read her work. I'd always been meaning to and now it'll be bittersweet when I do. Dammit.
