At 6:45 this evening, while riding the T, I got a call telling me that another apartment (same size and floorplan, but on the 5th floor) had become available beginning next Friday.

It seems the universe thinks this move is a good idea.

Awesome, as long as the height doesn't bother you. I was thinking this morning there used to be some decent apt/suite hotels in the DC area like rockville and downtown that would make do for a couple of weeks.
