fabrisseThere has been such tsuris about evacuation plans. Mom kept saying no. Then she packed her go bag this afternoon and when Sis got home informed us we needed to go tonight.
We're in Augusta. 2.5 hours of driving in the dark with Mom and the dogs complaining from the back seat. Well, Nora complained. Nicky found a way to curl up and slept most of the way. He's a pretty chill dude.
Sis can't lift much. I did the lifting, the driving, and the dog handling. I hurt. But, I'm pretty sure that there won't be an alligator using the dog leads as dental floss. Augusta is 300 feet above sea level. Savannah is 35 feet above sea level.
