fabrisseThe scathing reviews of the film version of Cats have been a major form of entertainment. Something about seeing the worst brings out the best in reviewers it seems.
One abiding theme seems to be that cat bodies with human feet, hands, faces, and proportions is NOT uncanny valley, but eldritch horror. In the comments on Folding Ideas review of the movie, one commenter called it "In the Meowth of Madness" to which another replied "Cathulu." I haven't laughed that hard in months.
