Cool! That Hundred-Mile-City idea is fascinating.

His homeless shelter at Holmes Road was my first introduction to his work. There are so many places in DC where a project like this could take shape.

The Hundred Mile City is an interesting way to avoid building on the green belt, which I've long thought was a terrible idea. I'd like to see more green belts in the US with restrictions on building in order to keep meadow lands and biodiversity. Barber's solution seems excellent.
