There was a Polish-American artist that I really liked whose work was on display and for sale at the Polish Museum a few weeks ago. I took a card since I knew I'd forget her name, but I should still have it at home.
I got introduced to Polish painter Jan Matejko in Poland. I liked his works, but had not really heard of him outside of Poland.
