There are two SG-1 authors who make me laugh -- for the right reasons. They've both written some wonderful serious stories (As a matter of fact, I think Eos's Truth and Consequences, which has a great deal of pain for a main character, is one of the best SG-1 character studies out there.)

But the reason that I love both Teand and Eos is for their different takes on the cliches that have evolved from fandom. Teand's Captured Cliche series is just that. Whether it's "Aliens made me do it" sex, Daniel's near-routine capture as a sex slave, or Jack's ability to heal the worst wound in one night, Teand has come up with a way to handle it. They're short; they're sweet. And they make me laugh every time I read them. Go here

Eos's "Debriefing" series is also short and sweet, but all of them take place in SG-1's post mission briefings. Like Teand's series, this is one I seek out to read when I'm down and hopeless. They are supremely silly and beautifully written. Go here to read them. There's also an extra one in the Christmas area at the FDAS site.
