fabrisseThe weather has finally broken. It took a fairly scary heavy duty storm, but it broke. The air is cooler. The humidity is manageable, and the sunlight has gone golden rather than silvery (I hope that makes sense to someone besides me.).
I took my self to Busboys and Poets for brunch today and walked home. I decided to step into the National Gallery for a few minutes, and it was a balm to my soul. Loved seeing Rubens Peale and his geranium again. They've rearranged the impressionists, and it just felt good.
I needed that.
