Antibiotics, day 2

I know that antibiotics kill bacteria. It's right there in the name.

What I don't understand is how the human body is supposed to react to them. My sore throat feels a bit better, but it's harder to swallow. The cough is not tightening my abs the way bronchitis coughing does. Instead, my ribs ache.

Ten days of antibiotics doesn't sound like much fun.
